Our History -- We were created by an innovative group of greenhouse growers in 1988, shortly after the natural gas market deregulated for large industrial and commercial users in Ontario. Being large consumers of natural gas, members of Flower’s Canada, Ontario and Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers decided to pool their natural gas purchasing. This allowed them to achieve competitive pricing for commodity. As owners of the business, growers retained control of the offering; the high level of trust in the price being a tremendous bonus and established piece of mind in the top cost of business.
