Today, Costa Farms is a third generation, family owned business that globally stretches over 4,200 acres and employs 2,800 people. Costa Farms announced that it has acquired Hermann Engelmann Greenhouses, Inc. of Apopka, Fla., a small-foliage grower. Hermann Engelmann Greenhouses has played a role in the indoor houseplant industry for more than 40 years.
