Michaels Nursery started in 1974 in Boynton Beach, FL. It was one of the first nurseries in South Florida to supply a new and expanding interior plantscaping industry. Over the past 30 plus years Michaels has prided itself on growing a wide variety of interiorscape plant material as well as supplying garden centers across the country. The demand for quality plant material enabled Michaels to grow to 75 acres of production at the Military Trail location by 2000.

Over the years a rural setting was being surrounded by more and more development. In 2001 Michaels Nursery headed west to an agricultural area in western Boynton Beach, FL. On forty acres we built a new facility with retractable roof shade houses and greenhouses. The additional expense to build these sturdy structures was an unusual departure from typical Florida shade house construction at the time. It proved to be a wise investment as we survived, more or less, intact during the last two devastating hurricane seasons. We are certified to ship to all states, Canada and Europe. Michaels Nursery is committed to serving the industry for years to come.
