I am a long time plant collector and enthusiast. My love of plants began when I was young but too inexperienced to understand how to care for plants. I simply could not keep one alive. It wasn’t until I moved to New York City in 2008 that my urge to grow plants, among a concrete jungle, was nurtured. I was fortunate enough to live in an apartment with a large backyard. In that time I experimented with a lot of plants, I killed a lot of plants, but I learned a lot along the way. During the cold harsh weather of the east cost I had to bring in a lot of my plants indoors to winterize them and thus my love for houseplants grew.

Now that I have moved to sunny Southern California, where the weather is virtually always 80 degress and sunny, my love of house plants have wandered into rare and unusual plants that are not easily found in nurseries and garden centers. I have only recently started to share my love of beautiful rare and exotic plants with others in the plant community.
