Hydroseeding and liquid de-icing
Voigt Smith Innovation was born from our landscaping and snow removal company that humbly started with a one man crew and has grown exponentially year over year. We began bidding work that required we differentiate ourselves as we could no longer compete on price. To attract new business we began offering more unique and specialty services to our customer base, included in these services were hydroseeding and liquid de-icing. We were not impressed with the design and price points of hydroseeding and liquid de-icing equipment available on the market, so we decided to design and build our own. We spent many years using and improving our equipment at our landscaping company. Tweaks and modifications were made along the way that made the equipment more efficient, more user friendly, and most importantly, more capable. We began to realize that the equipment we had built and the knowledge we had acquired in building and modifying it along the way put us in a position where we knew we could help other contractors with their equipment needs and their businesses, and thus, VSI was born.
