Burnaby Lake Greenhouses is more than just a family farm, though those were the seeds that started us. Since 1955, we’ve bloomed from a small farm to the largest provider of quality live plants and cut flowers in Western Canada, but at our roots, we are still a family. We are a family that strives to bring you the newest, freshest selection of potted plants, cut flowers, and tropicals straight from our greenhouses.

Our goal is to provide a wide variety of quality products at competitive prices, and to do this, we’ve had to become leaders in greenhouse technology and innovation. Our greenhouses feature advanced Environmental Computers that monitor and regulate temperature, humidity, light levels, CO2 levels, length of day, and many other growing parameters. We also have a rolling palletized benching system that allows efficient management of individual growing environments, and allows us to work more efficiently, meeting demand from our many customers even during peak shipping periods. Burnaby Lake Greenhouses is a leader in environmental stewardship, by combining our state of the art technology with policies that matter. We work hard to minimize water waste, maximize use of natural energy sources, decrease our dependency on resources like natural gas, oil, and the power grid. Moreover, we recycle both plastics and natural material extensively, with pots being sterilized and reused, and natural materials being composted into high-quality, nutrient rich growing media.
