Christmas season lights. David Green, owner of North Pole City, always loved the Christmas season. A former ceiling fan shop owner in the 1980s, Mr.Green needed to open a business that would supplement his ceiling fan business, and compete with big-box stores. His fondness for the Christmas season became the concept and inspiration to open “The Christmas Shop” in the early 1980s – which would later become North Pole City.
